Objective

The blepharoplasty improves the appearance of the sagging skin and the eyes fatty bags and it can also help improve the vision in older people who present a significant excess of upper eyelids falling over the pupil.

Information procedure:

Duration:

Surgery lasts two hours.

Time of surgery:

You have short stay hours.

Anesthesia:

Local sedation is used.

Interment:

Is a small surgery with a two hour recovery plus the use of dark glasses for a few months.

Postoperative monitoring:

Makeup in this area is not allowed for two weeks. The stitches will be removed after five days of surgery. Bruising and swelling will disappear after a few weeks.

Final result:

Results are visible a month after the surgery.

Scars:

There will be small scars not visible on the crease of the upper eyelid and on the edge of the lower lashes.

Special treatments:

Dark glasses are required for two months.
