Procedure Information

Surgery Time:

The tummy tuck is a highly invasive procedure that can take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours.

Type of Surgery:

Short stay.

Anesthesia:

General or epidural (depends on each patient needs and characteristics)

Internment:

A day in hospital to monitor patient recovery.

Postoperative care:

The drains are going to be removed 3-5 days after surgery, the removal of stitches is 10-12 days after surgery. Generally patients are fine with 2 weeks of recovery, but the complete healing takes longer.

Final result:

Four months.

Scars:

The scar of this surgery is hidden in the bikini area and a scar around the belly button, which is not visible.

Special treatments:

A special belt is used for six weeks, in addition to attending postoperative therapies suggested by the surgeon.
